Update at 3:25 p.m.: Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has announced three possible sites that will house the 2,000 unaccompanied immigrant children he expects to arrive by the end of July: D.A. Hulcy Middle School, the Lamar Alternative Education Program in Grand Prairie and a Parkland Memorial Hospital warehouse on 2420 Butler Road.
Jenkins says these sites have not been vetted, and some may drop off the list. He says others may replace them as well.
These three have been found viable of the dozens of sites we have looked at so far, he said at the press conference. These buildings, one of which is an empty Dallas Independent School District facility, are ones the county believes are the most viable to accommodate the children.
But, he said, it is not a foregone conclusion all of these sites will be used, and we have got to continue the vet process, Jenkins said. One or more than one could fall out.
He also said the county wants to hear from the community before the locations are OKd.
I hope as we deal with the community and move forward the community will keep in mind this is about compassion to children, and here in North Texas we dont turn our back on children.

I would also call the charities getting Obama (our)money for this invasion.
Also call Dan Patrick.
We are in the beginning of July, how do they know that?
And if they know, WHY will they not be returned back over the border from where they know they are comming??
Total B,S.!!!
You don't do that with phone calls.
So you don't actually know any of the actors on the ground?
Who supports Clay Jenkins, etc?
If you want rid of Clay Jenkins, we'll need that information. If you want rid of the newer invaders, you'll have to know where they are coming in, and when, and be able to get a group to protest them.
It's a lot of hard work. You don't do that with a phone call.

You know of the man? Or who supports him?

Dallas County has very little to do with it?
Why are you Clay Jenkins side?
Dallas County has very little to do with whether the Federal Government allows illegals in or not.
Do you want (politically)rid of Clay Jenkins, or not?
If so, you'll need to get some information about him.
Same with Texas Baptist Men. Who heads that? Where are they?

What a pile of dung and crock, he’s actually begging for the children to come along. Children generally are pretty tough and they just have their best field day on this excursion they are participating in and the parents are ridding some of their responsibility of care for those children on you and me, NO we don’t need to have bad feelings sending them back to irresponsible parents, because that’s what they are!!!
We are in the beginning of July and he KNOWS they are coming in the end. Plenty of time to arrange sending them back to their irresponsible parents that want to let you and me take care of them, FREELOADERS, right out of Barry’s playbook!!!
If so, you need to do more than whine about it. I've paid a hell of a lot of taxes to Dallas County over the years, but it's been a while since I've done that, so I've got some skin in the game, and know some folks over there.
You want to raise a stink or not?

send them home
The government never spent this much effort taking care of homeless Americans...
These guys are like a County version of a city council here.
I see it as a federal problem or an Austin problem.
/johnny
Thanks. Didnt know that.
it is everybody’s problem now
Dallas County can't do much besides protect public health and cope with what happens.
Stopping the invasion will happen from Austin or DC.
They better hope it does, anyway.

“.......our children”?

Got it.
