I suppose when these idiots who spend the majority of their lives in air conditioned cars , offices and homes just happen to take a walk down the street, their climate is changing. Imagine that, summer is upon us and one of them takes their Mercedes trip to Yellowstone and all of a sudden figures out it is warmer out of the car than it is in.

That is the key as to why it was changed from “Global Cooling” to “Global Warming”.
As more and more people began working indoors with AC, when they left work the heat hit them like a ton of bricks.
Also more and more people began getting central AC and heat in their houses the temp was always the same.
Dress to go outside when its cold and you take some of the warmth from inside outside with you, not so with heat.
Dress to go outside when it’s hot, the cool from inside doesn’t go outside with you.
In the late 70’s, when global cooling was still popular, a lot of people from the northern states moved to Texas and they were the first ones I heard say it wasn’t global cooling but global warming because they weren’t used to the Texas summer heat.
