The Quinnipiac University poll was founded by a verrry liberal old style Democrat professor Paul Falcigno who was also a liberal alderman in New Haven. The Quinnipiac poll has always leaned liberal and Democrat but has a reasonable reputation for honest polling. Take these poll numbers to the bank. I knew Falcigno when I was a Quinnipiac student.

Note that, among Republicans, Ronald Reagan is regarded as the best POTUS by 66% and his closest competitor receives only 6% which is 1/11 of Reagan's support. Yet the Ruling Class Republican gang whose $$$$ dominates the party STILL despise Reagan and keep on nominating trash like Romney and McCain. Then, the elitists wonder why they cannot defeat even Obozo.

Yes I share those thoughts.

I hate their polling questions at times, because they often ask the wrong questions IMHO.

But I do not think they fudge the sample size or the margin of error or the outcomes, or do the “push polling” that some news networks do so often.
