Not routine. The budget is the budget for the AF.
We cannot cut from any areas other than jobs any more.
I do not like it. But, Obama will reduce the size of the AF and the rest of the services.
This happens all the time. It happened when I was in the Army in 1970. (not to me) If a soldier is not talented enough to move up in rank, s/he should not stay at that rank for 15-20 years. Make room for other more talented soldiers to move up to their ranks.
It happens in business (up or out). It happens in sports.
It’s not a bloody purge, for God’s sake. Will you clowns calm down? It’s a RIF. People get totally screwed in these every single time. Higher level incompetence nearly assures it.
