I did get the ping - I started researching prior to commenting. What I've seen of her record looks good, but I recognize that this Administration is utterly politicized in making military appointments. A rapid rise - one-star to four in less than seven years.
Her father is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant - her mother is British. Her husband is a retired Marine.
For the sake of our Troops and our Nation, I hope this works out well.
