McDaniel unveils strategy to seek another runoff against Sen. Cochran
The Daily Caller ^ | 6/30/14 | Neil Munro

Posted on 07/01/2014 12:10:25 PM PDT by blueyon

Volunteers working for tea party challenger Chris McDaniel in Mississippi say they have already found 20 percent of the invalid double-votes they need to cancel Sen. Thad Cochran’s business-funded runoff victory.

“We’re finished with Hinds County, and we’re up to 1,500” invalid votes, said Noel Fritsch, Daniel’s press aide.

That’s critical because McDaniel can force another runoff if he can find more invalid votes than Cochran’s roughly 7,000-vote margin-of-victory on June 24. Votes are invalidated if voters cast ballots in both the Democrats’ June 3 primary and the GOP’s run-off on June 24.

However, McDaniel can also force another election even if he can’t find 7,000 invalid ballots, said Fritsch.

Remember Mayfield too.

I am posting this on everything regarding the rinos and Cochran. I think what the rinos did to this man is worse than fraud. I hope people go to jail and are sued to the max for this. It breaks my heart to see how heartless people can be.

Mark Mayfield’s family plans to sue or bring charges against the city of Madison because of his suicide.

The family was angry because of Mayfields arrest over Cochran photo scandal. They sat it was politically motivated by supporters of Cochran and drove him to suicide.

Mayfield was an attorney, state Republican and tea party leader. His family and friends are saying his arrest was politically motivated and his treatment by Madison authorities and his bond set at $250,000 is outrageous and that the don’t and set drug dealers’ bonds that high. Apparently his life crashed after that.

He couldn’t believe he was being accused of and denied doing it. They made sure they got a picture of him in handcuffs to use in a political ad.

Mayfield was a transactional lawyer – loan closings, title work – for three banks in the Jackson area. On the day his picture was in the paper, all three banks called him and fired him. He lost his business and had to let his secretaries go. He was devastated.

It sounds like the police (Cochrans police) who were involved in his investigation showed up instead of local police. The family accused Madison police of being heavy-handed during his arrest in May. The family is considering filing trespassing charges against the (Cochran) police who showed up.

Mayfields secretary said police showed up with guns, scaring her and treating him like a criminal. Some news reports and social media said a swat team came. The police said no guns were drawn. I believe the secretary.

That would be the normal sequence. It's not (legally) possible to challenge a result until it is, well, a result.

What did Mayfield expect? He did commit a rather disparaging act. His bond was set high but I don’t blame the banks for firing him.

My sympathies to his family.

So you are judge and jury and have convicted this man. Doesn't matter, Cochran WILL lose. If McDaniel doesn't run against him, everyone will vote for the democrat. Did you really think democrats are going to vote republican? At this point as dirty as the establishment is, we won't get much different than obama is doing to us.

THIRD PARTY!!!

I made no such claim. I stated facts. Don’t get your panties in a wad when you don’t know what you are talking about.

Yes you did! Post 27 you said;

Sorry your words are in print on post 27. You apparently don’t believe in innocent until proven guilty. I’m sure a person who committed suicide is easy prey, since he can’t defend himself.

Want to look at lawbreaking and lying to voters by sending flyers and making robo calls saying the teaparty is racist. I think well soon see what the Cochrans campaign and all the gop-e who helped him are guilty of. What goes around, comes around.

You’ll find this interesting.

Just the facts, mam. Nothing more, nothing less.

I made no comment on what the Cochran or McDaniel campaigns did. Show the untruth or shut up.

My God, you are clueless! Just like obama, you lie to yourself! I said you were judging Mayfield as if you were judge and jury. You denied it. I showed you your own words and you still denied it. Let me guess, Bush did it.

Look Blondie, Mayfield admitted his guilt. His act was despicable and his employers were right to fire him. I expressed sympathy for his family. If you don’t like that, too bad. Peddle your scorn somewhere else.

Blonde? Name calling how mature.

Where’s the link where he says he’s guilty?

He said he didn’t do anything wrong.

After reading my bible this morning I realize I’ve been very unchristian in my words. I’m sorry. I just feel so sorry for this family and how this happened because of politics. I never read anywhere where this man said he was guilty, and have read in many blogs Cochran supporters saying things like there glad he’s dead and hope he burns in hell....and accusing him without a trial. The man died because of this campaign, his family and friends are grieving.

Many of us are angry and frustrated to have given money, time and much more to the Republican Party and have them betray us. If Cochran won fair and square, so be it, but they have found thousands of fraudulent ballots and haven’t been allowed to see many precincts . We expect this from democrats but not from a party we have supported and taken abuse from for a while. If it continues we will just have to spilt because of irreconcilable differences.

Sorry again.

Any possibility of Mr. McDaniel adopting a strategy from the Lisa Murkowski playbook and go Independent during the general election? The dems would be less likely to cross over thinking they may have a chance at the seat. The conservatives could coalesce around McDaniel, leaving the rino voting portion of the GOP on their own? Just a thought.

I don’t think so as I read somewhere that the date to say you are going to do it is passed, hopefully that was not correct info that I read... :)
