I also noticed you dodged the question so I will ask again. Would a person born in Saudi Arabia and raised under sharia law be considered a Natural born citizen if the father was a US citizen? Do you think this was the founders intent when they wrote the NBC requirement? (Keep in mind this could mean the child was fathered by a one night stand with a mother he knew nothing about)

The founders put in a system of laws, period.

It is not a system of opinions, or what I want it to be.

With regards to your question, yes, that person, under current US Law is considered "Natural Born". You and I might not like it, but until you, I, or some other interested US Citizen either files a lawsuit that makes it to SCOTUS, or a US Law is passed by Congress and signed by a US President, or we follow the constitutional requirements for amending the constitution to define "Natural Born" as requiring 2 US Citizens at birth, that person is considered by current US Law as "Natural Born".

Your opinion, my opinion, and even the opinions of the Founders do not matter at this point in time with respect to actual constitutionality until one of those three paths are executed to make your opinion, my opinion, or what we understand as the opinions of the founders a matter of constitutional LAW.

Well we will have to agree to disagree. When the framers wrote the NBC requirement I think NBC had meaning. I highly doubt they used the term with the idea it would have to be decided later as to what it meant. Clearly the intent was to limit the presidentcy to loyal Americans by birth. If Cruz was born on the soil of Canada and has one Canadian parent he’s at least a Natural Born Canadian even more so than American. Using him as an example one must be able to be natural born citizens of multiple countries. Since this definition would do nothing to limit the presidentcy to loyal Americans then that tells us this could not have been the framers meaning of NBC. It must be something MORE than having just one citizen parent.
