The only solution I can see for these so called refugee children is creating a new category of resident.

They cannot be given amnesty or we will be overwhelmed by a tsunami of humanity.
We can't really just throw them back over the border and let them fend for themselves.
We need to establish some sort of guardianship relation.

I believe we have grounds to enter into negotiations with the emigrating countries. I believe that by assuming responsibility for some of their citizens we now assume a stake in their country.

If they are unable to respond to their responsibilities we may need to classify them as a failed state under our protection. Sovereignty requires self sufficiency.

We can’t really just throw them back over the border and let them fend for themselves.....May I ask why not? They got a free bus ride here, probably an airplane ride so why can’t Mexico send them back. They, after all, have STRICT immigration laws that do not need ‘reform.’
