Why wouldn’t he just ignore the ruling?

Thus far, he hasn’t encountered much of any resistance to his increasing string of power grabs. So to your point, why stop now? After all, he has a pen and a phone as he likes to remind us.

I wouldn’t put it past him to make a brazen attempt to extend his authority well beyond what it is now. The congress apparently has no appetite to reign him in.

Its depressing to watch a once great country descend into chaos.

It only makes sense. He can take what he wants, and there’s no meaningful backlash. He should do things like sign an executive order banning guns.
