I didn’t like the article. Mainly because he kept calling it an act of respect when in fact it’s an act of gratitude.
And the product placement add for Angry Orchard clumsily inserted into the op-ed.
“facist commie rat pig bastards” has a kind of poetic lilt to it. I like it.
If I were the serviceman assigned to a seat in coach, and Amy Adams came and offered me her seat in 1st class, I would ask her if she would trade with the person next to me instead.
I’d much rather sit in coach and talk with Amy Adams, than move to first class.
Absolutely! Jesus always put it in perspective for me since I was young. The verse below talks about giving - but it applies to any good deed.
Matthew 6:2-4
New International Version (NIV)
2 So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
She was cute as Lois Lane in Man of Steel. I enjoyed her with Clint Eastwood in Trouble With The Curve. She plays his daughter. Did a good job.
WB
One of the best looking, by far, of the current crop.
Check out Christian Bale in The Fighter with Mark Wahlburg and the classy Amy Adams. Based on a true story. Bale is virtually unrecognizable. LOVE this movie!
I’ve done this three times myself. I’m sure quite a few frequent fliers do this every day, just quietly and without fanfare.
I have begun to suspect he is a closeted conservative and not only that, but a highly persuasive one as well.
