The Prince of Wales is determined that his campaigning and charity work will continue even after he becomes King, emphasising the importance of what he calls sticking to your guns.
In a rare interview Prince Charles let it be known that he wants the trusts and charities he has set up whose work covers a broad range of social and environmental concerns to carry on when he assumes the role of Monarch.
That raises the prospect of a future King Charles III being seen as a supporter of causes, some of which may come into conflict with the views of the public or even the Government of the day a scenario that could cause complications in Britains constitutional monarchy.

This clown won't rest until he destroys what is left of the British monarchy. He needs to watch the British version of the "House of Cards" series to refresh his memory of what a prime minister may do to rid him/herself of an annoying, oppositional monarch.

Part of his problems stem from him being reared by a queen.

I’ve never thought that he’d BE king. I know the Queen has designated certain roles to him but somehow I see her living long enough that the crown passes directly to Wills. We can hope!
Chas appears to be a fool of the first order, what with all that inbreeding. At least the gene pool expanded with his marriage to Diana and their 2 sons seem more, um, human?

Take one good hard look at Charles and why the West is in decline becomes very apparent
To: Cecily
Long live the Queen. Long enough to have the crown skip Chuck and pass down to William.

The Monarch takes little direct part in Government. The decisions to exercise sovereign powers are delegated from the Monarch, either by statute or by convention, to Ministers or officers of the Crown, or other public bodies, exclusive of the Monarch personally. Thus the acts of state done in the name of the Crown, such as Crown Appointments, even if personally performed by the Monarch, such as the Queen's Speech and the State Opening of Parliament, depend upon decisions made elsewhere: (from wikipedia)

Prince Charles has a couple nuts rolling around in his head from some of the antics and things he’s said. One unimpressive man...royalty wise...in his case what one wears doesn’t fit the man under the clothes.

“. . .reared by a queen,” comes from a Saturday Night Live skit about an embarrassing incident involving Charles and a gay valet in 2003.
