Judge Sullivan is the judge who held federal prosecutors in contempt, dismissed an unjust indictment against a United States Senator, and publicly excoriated the Department of Justice. He also had the moral conviction, courage and gumption to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Justice Department and the individual prosecutors.

Unless he put someone in jail I am not impressed.

Big deal he held federal prosecutors in contempt. Did they spend time in jail? Did they get fined thousands of dollars? Did they have to pay for the defendant’s defense cost?

The DOJ has the power to ruin people’s lives; when they do wrong it is a big deal and they should be punished harshly. Yet you never hear of that happening. I certainly don’t see it happening here.

At least one of the prosecutors was disbarred and another prosecutor committd suicide while under investigation.

He was the judge on the Senator Ted Steven’s case and did admonish the prosecutors.

If he’d so it for a Republican Senator, maybe there’s a chance for justice.
But I won’t hold my breath for a Clinton appointee.
