How about the officers place their STATE flag on the coffins of their fallen instead of the U.S. flag? Cops don't die for their country, they die for their local community!
The HIGHEST honor is to die for country, and that should be reserved solely for U.S. troops. To give that special honor to police officers cheapens it for our troops.
