2 things from the article

The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 signed by President Ford blocked exports of U.S. crude oil (and natural gas) but allowed the president to exempt shipments which he determines to be consistent with the national interest.
Lifting the ban on exports of unrefined oil exports wasn’t what is wrong.
The problem is that Soros is dictating policy, and engaging in insider trading. He was buying up these companies since June of last year.
Then there is the fact that Obama does NOTHING openly, and Congress needed to be vetted.
