What you should say though is “We used to laugh at the tinfoil hat crowd, but now we have to admit that they were right more often than not on the future of this nation.”
We were completely right IMHO. I am now convinced the situation is much worse than we think. (It usually is.) I suggest prayer and repentance from our population. The prayer, in part should be a request for guidance about how to get out of this mess we have put ourselves in.
