In a perfect world... everyone in mississippi who voted illegally would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Fined the maximum allowable by law. We can't throw thier ballots out because we don't know which ones are theirs, but we can know who they are and they should be prosecuted.

Imagine the press if 35K people were fined or whatever the law calls for. THAT would go a long way toward helping insure more fair elections in the future.

Yes. Or least the minimum amount! Should not let any of them off without a penalty. Post 201 in some thread here sets out the law and the penalty.

... on conviction, shall be fined not exceeding two hundred dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail not more than six months, or both.
