To: Paine in the Neck

I’m thinking maybe the poll workers didn’t know the rules. If they were trying to do it to cheat, would they make the two vote thing so obvious.

Or maybe they didn’t have a choice except to record it?

I can understand the Dem poll workers either not being told the rules for the occasion, or just ignoring them. What’s upsetting is that the GOP poll workers also either didn’t know the rules, or decided to ignore them (apparently.)

It would seem to be a simple matter to inform a voter that he was ineligible to vote in a GOP runoff once he’d voted in the original DEM primary, no?

By the way, that’s one assumption I haven’t questioned: That is the law, right? For sure? (I suppose I could Google it...)
