The Chris McDaniel campaign has identified multiple Mississippi counties in which enough improper ballots have been cast that a legal challenge to the outcome of the election is warranted.

So far....Drudge has not covered this news at all!! I’m sure folks are banging on his door!!! Get with the program Matt!!!
If they voted on the democrat primary the ballot they were given only had democrats on it. They could not have voted for Cochran or McDaniel
And that if you walked in and asked for a GOP ballot on 6/3 you would be listed, not in the Democrat Poll Book, but in the Republican Poll Book.. They probably both have a column for 6/24 as a contingency as someone explained upthread.
Still, it would be good to have MS confirmation of this.
McDaniel is on Hannity tonight. I really hope he shows this photo
Ping to 277.
You are NOT given voting ballots from both primaries. You are given one. Your name is recorded as to WHICH ballot you are given. Precisely to prevent your voting in the opposite primary subsequently.
He has Romney people working for him
Do you vote in Wake County, NC? If not, then stfu. If so, then feel free to FReepmail me and we can discuss it further.
Is Haley Barbour subject to election law...???
When I vote in a primary here in NC I am given a Republican ballot since I’m a registered Republican. I can’t vote Democrat since I don’t have access to that ballot. If MS is the same, those Dem voters would HAVE to vote Dem.
Thank you. I just cannot believe we have fouled up this system so badly — AND we advise other countries on how to vote in a democracy — just laughable — do they end up taking their results to courts and judges also?
On 6/3, that is so, and it would be entirely legal. Having done that and then also having voted on 6/24 - when there was only a GOP runoff - that 6/24 vote would have been illegal.
True, and therein lies the problem. At what point are there enough illegal votes to invalidate the election?
I work elections in a state with open primaries. In our recent runoff, anyone trying to vote in the Republican runoff who had voted in the Democrats primary was promptly sent to the other side of the room.
It is unfathomable to me that these votes were allowed by election personnel unless there was corruption involved. I dont know enough about the demographics of the affected precincts to guess.
Oh, gads. *sigh*
From the article:
PHONE AND FAX NUMBERS PLUS EMAIL ADDRESS. I JUST CALLED AND GOT “THE MAILBOX IS FULL” MESSAGE SO I EMAILED:
It appears they are trying to run the clock out and certify the election results on Monday of next week preventing Chris McDaniel from completing an audit of the vote.
Please call the GOP at 6019485191 fax 6013540972 email info@msgop.org ask that they have an impartial member of the Hinds County Republican Committee oversee the audit, certification instead of the present county chairman.
Hinds County chair Pete Perry is wearing too many hats and cant be impartial or fair
EVERYONE PLEASE READ POST 277
Anyone from Mississippi that can explain the photo of the Democratic Poll Book?
1. You don’t register by Party in MS so why all the names listed that
apparently didn’t vote on June 3.
2. Is there another listing showing GOP/Republican Poll Book. If so does
it have all the same names? If marked voted that would mean they voted
in the GOP Primary?, correct?
Help us Non Mississippians understand your process. Thanks.
To: Jim Robinson
Amen Jim. Why is Hinds County denying McDaniel the right to audit
votes? What are they trying to sweep under the table.
If there is nothing to hide, why not allow McDaniel to audit?
There we have it. Period. Full stop. Thank you.
>>The Mississippi electoral process records which (Republican or Democrat) ballot the person was given. The voter is NOT given both; the voter tells the poll workers which ballot he wants to have for the primary vote.<<
Do you know this for a fact? There’s a lot of speculating going on here today.
If what you say is factual (it’s certainly not the case in my state, where we also have open primaries), then all McDaniel would have to do is tally up the clearly illegally-cast ballots and argue with statistics.
Because Cochran was lobbying for DEM votes, if you can show that 10-15,000 votes were illegally cast, a judge should have no trouble overturning the runoff election.
But are you absolutely certain that the pollworkers record which ballot they take officially?
His sister-in-law is election commissioner for Hinds County. Her name is Connie Cochran.
