No, it was the GOP Establishment that split the GOP into two warring factions with their big government statism and slandering conservatives as racists.
And it was the GOP Establishment that benefited. They would rather cheat to ensure a Democrat victory than allow a real conservative win fair and square. Their mission in life is to block, diffuse, and dissipate conservative political power in this country.
