Yes. Very bad idea. Why should I as a person who loathes both factions of the uniparty have to pay for elections for them to select their candidates? Let the parties pay their own bills and select their own candidates. They don’t need my tax dollars to pick their kakistocrats. I trust them to pick the lousiest one without a taxpayer funded primary.
