That one drives me batty too. I always want to respond with, “well, what was it? And what is it gonna be?”
Reminds of “shit happens”. Oh yeah? Well shit ain’t supposed to happen, and if it does, it’s your fault!
So it starts to sprinkle a little bit outside and someone says, “is it supposed to be like this today?”
Well, gee, I’m really not sure what it is “supposed to be” like today.
