Perhaps you are right.
But perhaps it is because the IRS is making up a bunch of fake emails with back dates (install a virtual machine with an AD DS domain and an Exchange server and change the date to five years ago)... Anyway they can say...
“Look we found the emails and no smoking gun in them at all!”
The press will declare it over, just like the birth certificate.
Look VERY carefully at the routing on those SMTP headers!!!
