No he wouldn’t. He would win.
How can you ask people to vote for a guy that did race baiting robot calls to get democrat votes in a republican primary? I wouldn’ t vote for him whether it affected control of the senate or not.
Cochran might as well be a democrat... and besides if McDaniel’s did run - he might win. But your point is well taken. Splitting the vote has risks - it could elect a democrat. But a point would be made: that if a RINO asks for democrat support in the primaries he’ll lose in the general... In the short run it might hurt us - in the long run it would send a powerful message.
The GOPe paid for robocalls that called McDaniel a racist for opposing obamacare. That’s scorched earth down here that will not be forgotten.
