I agree, mostly, giving to the poor is the responsibility of the individual AND primarily the church. Government inevitably screws this up but if the church universal did a great job, the government role would be unnecessary.

The American church has become too inwardly focused.

Our country owes these people nothing but compassionate Christian people should recognize them (majority) as brothers and sisters in Christ and as humans created in the image of God...

The most compassionate thing is to send them home immediately and then to build that wall and cut off the benefits to prevent this humanitarian crisis in the future.

How do you know they are brothers and sisters in Christ? Have you walked through the crowds and taken a census of how many believers there are? I wonder if all those guys with gang tattoos are Christians?

You're wasting time. You could be on your way to the border right now to dispense some social justice.
