Open Primary’s are the reason why Graham keeps his seat.
I suppose the only way to change it is at the state level, even though it effects us all.
Open primaries have saved numerous RINOs through the years, and at least two last night.
Tennessee has open primaries also. There is a growing fear and concern the same thing is going to happen in the upcoming Lamar Alexander/Joe Carr vote. We are hoping to get this changed. Lord knows it needs to be.
Calling them RINOs is wrong, however. They are the Republicans. What we are learning is that we may not be able to “work from within” as many wish.
