Hillary Clinton claims that despite the significant wealth she and Bill have amassed since leaving the White House, theyre not truly well off compared to the richest of Americans.
They don't see me as part of the problem," Clinton told The Guardian newspaper in response to a question about whether voters would see her as credible on the issue of income inequality, despite her vast personal wealth. We pay ordinary income tax, unlike a lot of people who are truly well off not to name names and we've done it through dint of hard work.
The eyebrow-raising comment, made during an interview with the British paper that ran late Saturday, follows another bizarre remark Clinton made about being dead broke after leaving the White House and could further propel the image of her being out of touch with Main Street as she continues to weigh a 2016 presidential run.

Is this peaking too soon? She would make a wonderfully weak candidate.
Just a poor charwoman worth 21.5 million.
Flown on a commercial airline
Driven a car
Gone grocery shopping
Used a vacuum cleaner
etc.
Hillary BS machine Clinton...if her be was manure... we could export it...
And this piece of human excrement said that with a straight face.
To the Democrats the definition of rich depends on who is signing the tax return not the income listed on it.
She admits that her **** stinks...just a little?
I believe her, she’s no as well off as Bill Gates.
Praying SO hard...
And, oh, by the way, Ambassador Chris Stevens wasn't murdered, he died of smoke inhalation.
If she’s banking on taxpayers like her to get elected she can’t win. She needs to appeal to the majority of Americans who don’t pay taxes, just like Obama did.
I consider ourselves well off. We are both retired with 3 retirement checks a month coming in. We bought a house we could afford and it is almost pd off. We paiy cash for 1 yr old luxury cars. We are frugal and still saving money. We have a nice amount in the bank. My family thinks we are rich but we wouldn’t even register on the Clinton’s scale of wealth. I consider her and her hubby rich.
The witch is duplicitous!!
This will make excellent campaign adds. She couldn’t be more out of touch.
According to the current administration if you make more the 250k a year, you are a “millionaire” and aren’t paying your fair share. I’m assuming Hillary will be for a tax break for anyone making less than 20,000,000/year since they are no longer among the “real rich”.
And the gaffes keep coming!
She’s not only drain bamaged but she’s also as morally corrupt a witch as I can imagine.
Her base attitude reminds me A BIT of the “we are the 99!%” rubbish.
So you’re not in the top 1 percent.... folks...SO WHAT??
shes just about to fall off the page anyway
I have a feeling she sees a Soros and billions and is bitterly jealous. She has only her pitiful millions and weeps for herself.
Hillary is so much more on defense than she is advancing that dang book, (a magnificent flop), or is projecting herself as a coherent candidate.
Never thought I’d see the day that her very own media bosom syncophants would *ever* hold her to any standard at all, as any other author and any other candidate.
Relative to those yesteryear puffball interviews she is already in hand to hand combat.
Honestly? I think her old pals actually prefer Jeb Bush over Hillary. If he should announce,I think that given her pathetic book reception, she would fold to avoid the “Bush machine”, that might match hers, dollar for dollar.
Personally, I have not thought she would run at all. Overweight, sluggish, and unlikable have caught up with her, finally.
Come uppance at last.
But was it Mencken who said no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public?
