A pound of Oscar Mayer bacon is almost $10 where I live. Who would have ever believed a pound of bacon would cost that much?
I guess I can live without bacon, but I sure don’t want to.
My food budget, for one person is roughly 250-275 a month. I’ve always lived really well on that. This year it’s averaging 300-320.
No one should live without bacon. That’s why people are unhappy. If everyone could have dietary laws that would allow them to eat bacon- I do believe we would have world peace.
Here in Minnesota, where every little Podunk town has a butcher shop, real bacon is about $5/lb.
