Cosmo is a women’s magazine? About 30-40 years ago or so, I noticed that the covers were all about women with cleavage, and had become a pseudo playgirl mag. In fact I thought maybe they were expanding their target to young males.
No decent, self-respecting woman would ever read Cosmo.

I suspect their circulation will go down quite a bit over this.

See my post #12.

As noted, there were as many bare breasts in Cosmo as in Playboy in those days. The mag seemed to be saying to women, “This is what you’re supposed to look like; this is the ideal bosom, the standard for the beauty of the bosom”.

The 1997 film “Breast Men”, about the plastic surgeons who pioneered implants, depicts the same timeframe.

Find a copy of Helen Gurley Brown’s 1983 “Having It All” guide for happiness & fulfillment. But then, just what’s so wrong with a woman seeking a secure relationship & knowing something about pleasing the man in her life?

HGB felt that was fine, as long as the guy was a millionaire.
