This article is about what this pope stated in his apostolic letter last year. In which he criticizes ‘trickle down economics’, which he stood by, after given a chance to blame translators

I have read the document and I think the author here is correct. And I have to trust that this pep is right for our times, and I disagree with his criticism which is an opinion piece and not subject to infallibility if I am correct

None of this is about renegade nuns who are not in keeping with the church teaching on abortion

But you will be in company here with those who enjoy a good anticatholic pile on

The whole point is that it should be.

There is no such thing as "trickle down economics", that is a construction by people who are against free markets. and by extension, free will. Are you against free will?

I am a charitable man and do much to help people even though I don't have much to give but my time.
However, I am against government organizations providing charitable services.
First off, they do it by taking from those who earn resources and they give to whomever "they" favor.
Secondly, they invariably consume most of the resources themselves while they are providing the redistribution, leaving only a fraction for the intended recipients.
I have worked at various levels of government and have first hand experience.

As I have said in a number of posts, charitable services should be provided by churches and local civic organizations.
