For home, of course I agree. We use a $25 Mr. Coffee drip unit ourselves. If you grind good beans yourself, of course that will beat a Keurig. If you have a husband who makes youu coffee, its even more convenient. My wife makes mine. Good thing they didn't marry each other!
Do keep in mind that I was responding to someone complaining about the messes in workplace coffee areas. As far as not having to deal with dirty neglected pots in a public area, single serving Keurigs have their advantages.
