Let me make this profoundly clear.

This will be the death of the Repubicans. They will try to appeal to rats who will never vote for them, and as a consequence, sane people like me will never be behind them.
And I say this to the lurking Freepers who do not care about this issue (you know who you are), the GOPs retreat from this means much more than collapsing on the marriage issue.
Republicans have criticized these rulings as the result of activist judges acting unconstitutionally and abusing their authority. If they abandon that, if they say that this will be allowed to fly, they have NO grounds to oppose ANY court backed agenda and that includes Obamacare. That includes any future decision by a liberal court to deprive you of your firearms. You will have submitted to the kritarchy, a rule of judges.

I remember during the 2012 campaign, right after Romney got back from Europe, and a reporter asked him his opinion on the Chick-Fil-A “buycott.” The pathetic way Romney responded, by not even offering a generic comment on people standing up for their beliefs, but stuttering an “uh, uh, that’s not part of my campaign,” demonstrated to me what a totally contemptable coward he was. The epitome of everything I despise in a politician. I was already loathe to vote for him, due to his siccing his operatives out to smear and trashtalk Palin. But this did it.
Of course, this was the very same bastard who helped facillitate homo-marriage in his own state as governor. Anyway, it was then and there I really knew in my gut that I couldn’t vote for the guy. The very first GOP candidate in my lifetime to not get my vote. No way in hell will I ever vote for a candidate who is either so cowed by the homo-fascists, or so degenerate as to embrace their agenda.
