I just hope none of these folks ever come into our cul de sac. We have 15 little boys under the age of 9 who play outside all day and ride bikes, scooters, pedal cars, roller skates, jump off of ramps they made on a skateboard, etc. None of them wear helmets, knee pads or any type of protective gear. There is also always someone playing basketball or a couple tossing a football around. Sometimes they crash but you never ever hear any of them cry except for one little three year old who definitely does not like to share the new electric golf cart his grandparents bought him for his birthday.
Cheers to your cul de sac. We have some young relatives coming soon for a visit who don’t know what outside is. They aren’t allowed to play outside and don’t know how to ride bikes. Silly me was going to air up the bike tires and let them ride all over the neighborhood just like when I did and like our kids did. I’m guessing baiting a hook and hiking are both out of the question, too.
