One problem.
I saw Dewhurst on FOX this morning saying that they are required by law to turn the border crossers over to ICE and the Border control. The illegals have been running into the arms of border control as it is.
Intentional or not, this will end up facilitating the illegal crossings.
Don't follow that law. Just don't. The other side does not follow laws that are inconvenient and the other side knows we will govern ourselves by following laws. They use that against us.
This is very clearly war - stop following their laws. What are they gonna do? Texas is self sufficient.

The state could always exercise its 10th Amendment rights and ignore the law just like Obama and Holder are ignoring the laws. Round up the illegals and turn them over directly to the Mexican authorities at the border. Make a huge issue of the fact the federal government is not enforcing the law. Then let the case go to the Federal Courts and see if the judges will rule the states have to obey the law but the federal government does not.
Arizona should join Texas in fighting back against the travesty on the border.
