FOX News Megyn Kelly had some tough questions for former Vice President Dick Cheney on Wednesday night, after he and his daughter, Liz, offered a scathing review of the Obama administrations foreign policy.
In your op-ed [in the Wall Street Journal], you write as follows: Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many, Kelly said on her show The Kelly File. But time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong as well sir. Continue Reading Text Size

Kelly then began listing shortcomings of the Bush administration, pointing out Cheneys statements that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, that the U.S. forces would be considered liberators and that Iraqi insurgency was in the throes in 2005.
Cheney responded that invading Iraq was the right thing and that it would have been irresponsible for us not to act.

Are you an idiot?
No, but you seem to think Bush is an idiot for missing all these “massive tons” of WMD’s in Iraq just waiting for him to discover.
I see you’re pretty unhinged right now though, and strangely aggressive. Are you sure you took your pills today?
Are you a troll?
PS: Uranium is not equivalent to WMD, otherwise Canada and Kazakhstan would be among the most dangerous countries on Earth. All these sources that point to confiscated yellowcake, old nuclear and chemical processing equipment, common chemical stocks and depleted uranium ammunition are merely materials to make a WMD. They are not WMD’s. Get it?
That’s why Bush said what he did.
I’ll leave it at that.
And she’s so stupid she buys into the left’s lie of “there were no weapons of mass destruction.”
Just today there are reports ISIS has moved on Iraq’s “chemical weapons facilities” and “stockpiles”.
... having multiple WMD programs isn't the same as having WMDs. Semantics is a fun game isn't it? Tell it to the Kurds.
"fringe websites" is still cracking me up! LOL
The bottom line was Iraq was in violation of dozens of sanctions, agreements and the cease-fire of 1991. When one side breaks a cease-fire the other side usually starts firing also.
We did. And Bush explained that AFTER 9/11 we could no longer afford to play this slap-on-the-wrist approach.
You forget the UN mandate was to get Iraq out of Kuwait and nothing more. The 140 country coalition would have crumbled if we went any further.
Hindsight may say it was a mistake but at the time we didn’t have support for anything else.
And those agencies, as well as those around the world, ALL had the same intelligence and evidence of WMD's in Iraq. And we did find some. Sarin gas ended up in Jordan and was used in a failed attack in that country. I think the key word everyone ignores was "stockpiles".
You're kidding. Syria got chemical weapons from Egypt when they were allies. They got them from the Soviet Union before the collapse of the USSR. They probably had the capacity to make chemical weapons themselves. And if you remember Israel destroying their nuclear reactors in 1981 and again in 2007, it's pretty clear that Syria wasn't all that primitive and dependent on outsiders when it came to WMDs.
I dont see where this would buy her anything except money.

Does she really have to leave all that behind when she interviews the Cheneys?
I wonder when was the last time old Dick visited our southern border.
Much more to it then personal revenge involved. Senior was the Ppresident of the United States of America.
The response to something like that must swift and overwhelming. The idea of proportionality should not even be considered. Were it up to me any attempt on our presidents life should be countered with the total annihilation of a city in the country of the assassin.
