She's got some qualifications on who should be sent back -- it's far from a blanket statement.

Nonetheless, her position suggests she's reading the polls and following their winds.

The solution that I'd like to hear coming from a Republican source, however, would be to send them back to their country of origin upon arrival -- excepting only those in need of medical treatment. And, rather than spending money on holding areas in the USA, that money should be spent in the nations of origin -- with that nation responsible for returning them to their parents.
