The Assyrians, such as remains of them, are Christians (albeit Nestorians), and are are being driven from their homes by ISIS (although not yet slaughtered, as ISIS is busy now dealing with the Shi’ites whom they know will fight them, rather than folks they can reduce to dhimmitude at their leisure if they’re still around when the dust clears).
