Projections? Alan Guttmacher Inst. was claiming that millions of Mexicans were having illegal abortions. Mexico City legalized, and no-one showed up; Hundreds, not millions.
The extract posted here is misleading as it refers to the ethnicity of women resident in the UK who had abortions. The figures for non-residents are at table 12a in the full report showing totals of 3,679 for the Irish Republic and 802 for NI
