Bingo - that’s why one bureaucratic agency after the other has been militarized. They won’t call it martial law though, I’m sure Eric Holder has a focus-group tested term ready to trot out when the time comes. Something like “Democracy through Safety Enhancement”
Or “Security Enhancement through Protective Custody”.
This is where the Tea Party will probably shine, but it won’t be without serious clashes.
