and the Iraqi army will evaporate in Baghdad. And with control of Taji and its heavy weaponry the Baathists/ISIS will annihilate the Shia militias running around.
I don’t think they’ll evaporate per se. The shias will put up somewhat of a fight. But we have 2 sides involved that both hate America with the Iraqi gov’t being ambivalent. Iran isn’t going to help us. ISIS ain’t going to help us. The embassy is essentially waiting for someone to pluck it. Whether it’ll be Iranians or ISIS. Who knows.
