“I cant believe Texas is going to put this a$$hat back in the senate. Fund border security!”
Get used to it. I moved from Oregon to Texas four years ago after graduating U of O. I am very familiar with liberal “think.”
Texas will be true blue by 2016. Texans are extremely arrogant to the notion Texas can possibly turn blue. Liberals have taken note of this arrogant belief system and are making their move to make it so. I have yet to meet a Texan who is open to the idea Texas is at risk. Its so sad. So terribly sad. (I keep seeing oodles of license plates from liberal states flooding into Texas and I have yet to come across a single Texan who has even noticed)
Betsy I am a fifth generation Native Texan and I have certainly noticed the many liberals moving here and I also know that Texas is at risk. I live in Austin and believe me it has always been liberal. I don’t think we are at risk in 2016 but I agree that we can if we don’t keep watch and fight for our mighty state.
2016- No. 2024- Perhaps. Texas could look alot like California is now, if the liberal demographic migration and illegal invasion trend continues at its current pace.
Won’t happen in 2016 but the future is sure to change.
Currently TX has 24 out of 36 CDs in the GOP fold. Both US Senators, all Statewide
elected officials, Texas state senate 19/12, Texas state house 95/55 are GOP. The
major cities such as Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin all have democrat mayors
and some regions/counties vote democrat.
Take care.
