The Texas Constitution lists three reasons for the Governor to call forth the militia
> to execute the laws of the State
> to suppress insurrections
> to repel invasions
There is an invasion.
The Texas statutes define “the militia” as:
> the state military forces
> and the reserve militia
State military forces means:
> the Texas National Guard
> the Texas State Guard
> and any other active militia or military force organized under state law
Reserve militia means:
> the persons liable to serve, but not serving, in the state military forces.
It is clear that the necessary conditions have been met and that Governor Perry can call forth a large number of persons to repel the invasions.
Make the call, Governor.
Please dear God, inspire Gov. Perry, who believes in you, worships you, and follows your word, to fight against those who want to invade and enslave us to their wants.
Texas, lead the way!
