" not become some Mesoamerican mamacitas want a better future in "El Norte" for their kids, but because the most powerful people in the USA want this to happen."

That's ridiculous.

The "Forbes 500" is not putting a gun to these folks heads and driving them north against their will.

But, YEAH CoC and the promise of benefits/citizenship (democrats) are encouraging and rewarding this behavior.

But I stand by my contention that the only effective fix is to militarize the border and demonstrate the will to use deadly force to protect it.

And, I'll double down...just so you don't mistake me for someone unserious: Every illegal here today should be deported, voluntarily if they'll take good advice, but at the barrel of a gun if necessary.

If you think that's what I said, you misunderstand me. What I said is that they have been dangling incentives in front of people's eyes, forever. It's not a forced-march, it's an allurement, a pervasive promise of rewards, advantages, opportunities, and benefits. "Forbes 500" is my (not perfectly accurate) shorthand way of saying big corporate contributors who shower "soft money" to movements that are usually socially liberal, and the favor the free movement of capital and labor across borders.
