You have forgotten that Cheney & Rumsfeld were terrorizing the American people with warnings of mushroom clouds right here in the USA. You have forgotten that he war was sold on the myth of nuclear weapons almost ready to launch.
It almost feels pointless to debate this on here again, but yes Saddam Hussein was absolutely building nuclear weapons and the facilities and scientists were moved to Syria.
And the US wasn’t the only ones saying Saddam was close to acquiring nukes - other allies and international agencies were saying it as well.
The movement of the nuclear program to Syria eventually led to the Israeli strike in September 2007.
I cannot forget an event which never transpired.
