On Wednesday, Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) spoke to the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, pushing for jobs to move to Texas. In the process, he praised former First Lady and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "Very, very capable public servant," Perry stated. "Great Secretary of State, first lady. Very capable."

If Perry runs for POTUS in 2016 and somehow gets the nomination, imagine the Rat attack ads using this stupid quote...he’s learned NOTHING.

The high point of Perry's life was his stint as an Aggie "Yell Leader" (AKA Cheer Leader).

It's been downhill ever since

Several of us anxiously await the much deserved apologies from those slamming us over the years for calling this POS a liberal.

Whatever one says about Lazio, he won that debate hands down. That’s why they started calling him names because he dared to walk over to the Holy One, Hillary Rodham Clinton. She’s not a good debater. She’s a banal, Perry Principle, How to Succeed in Business without Knowing Anything Democrat.

That said, Perry is kooky.

The stint as an Aggie “Yell Leader” is the high point of every Aggie Yell Leader’s life.

If Perry is just posturing with the LSM to show he’s an anti-Rick Lazio opponent to candidate Hellary well it ain’t gonna fly. The USA Pravda media will rip him no matter what so might as well just reveal the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

What would possess any Republican to say that? Or maybe Rick’s taken Juan McCain as an example to follow.

Truly, I don't know a damn thing much about Perry. But somehow, I am inclined to accept your judgement.

NEXT CONTENDER, PLEASE!

Yes she is. Hillary accomplished as much in the Senate as Senator Lincoln.

IMO Rick Perry does not believe Hillary will be the Democratic nominee in 2016. I think he feels it will be Andrew Cuomo as do I. Its strategically wise to leave Hill alone and not tick off any possible votes that might come his way if he runs on the GOP ticket. Plus look where he was speaking. San Francisco. In his defense the did freak the audience out by comparing homosexuality to alchoholism. Now that there is just funny. :-)

Politicians can’t resist the urge to cater to voters who will never vote for them. Hillary is a bag lady, picking up political positions she knows nothing about, and rolling them around as her pride and joy. Perry should save his gentlemanly compliments for women who deserve them, like Sarah Palin.

Yes, but here’s the main news from Perry’s appearance last night, per KPIX:

When taking questions at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins hotel on Nob Hill, Perry was asked whether he thought homosexuality was a disorder.
“I may have the genetic coding that I’m inclined to be an alcoholic,” Perry said. “But I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way.” A few people in the audience gasped when they heard the governor’s remarks.
