I know we took down Tom Daschel and Cynthia McKinney, so maybe it is possible to take down any politician left or right.
McKinney was nuts, but Daschle was a prize. It was historic for a Senate Minority Leader to lose his seat.
Don't also forget about Tom Foley. He was Speaker of the House when he lost in his general election.
The difference between Daschle and Foley with Cantor is that Cantor was a chamber leader who lost in the primary, not the general election.
