At this point, I’m less than thrilled with the idea of having anyone from a blue state in a leadership position. They’re too accustomed to groveling at the feet of Democrats.
Apparently, Jordan has said he is not interested. Jordan is probably the most conservative member of the House...at least among the most conservative. And he is a traditional conservative. It doesn’t matter since he isn’t interested anyway. It requires a unique skill set to be whip, majority leader, or speaker. Jordan’s probably just being honest about his strengths.
