We’ll see later if that’s the case, but for Cantor to lose this badly, in such a blind-sided manner, suggests that a large flush of Democrats crossed over.
Cantor was a lock in November. We’ll see, in this election between two nobodies, if the R+10 in this district will be able to hold against the onslaught of Democrat money targeting the crazed, immigrant-hating bigot Tea Party guy.
I understood that the dems didn't run anyone.

There is no democrat candidate to vote for so it is possible that some democrats came out to vote for Brat, but I believe republicans got fed up with Cantor’s nonsense. The threats, his support for amnesty, and the lying about himself and Brat, may have been a bit too much for republicans in the district to stand. They sent Cantor a message — no more of this.
ONE LESS RINO IN THE WALL!
I stand corrected. You make convincing points.
My question is will the RNC / GOP-e now get behind Brat in the Virginia race against the Dems in November or will they let him fend for himself? This will truly show they are evil if they let him have to battle a dem without the GOP / Rove support.
