Very safe gop district. Carefully gerrymandered to insure gop victory. Absent the proverbial “found in bed with a dead boy” incident he should win in Nov.
Great news, thanks! Heard Dave Brat speak for 15+ minutes with Sean Hannity earlier tonight on Fox... I really liked what I heard from him. Brat sounds like a common sense free market grassroots Constitutional conservative. He doesn't refer to his ideology as "Tea Party".
Interesting he won this race with such little $$ (about $250,000 to Cantor's $5 million!), and with NO help from the big Tea Party groups, ie Tea Party Patriots, etc.
