I'm actually going to vote for Kevin Crow. Lankford would be my second choice. Honestly, the biggest reason that I'm voting for him, is because he was my history professor at USAO. I remember sitting in the classroom and thinking to myself “This doesn't sound like your typical liberal stuff.” Turns out, it wasn't. I feel like I could talk to Dr. Crow and he would at least give me a hearing. He's an extremely smart man, and I relish the thought of an academic Republican Senator telling the “pro-education” libs in the Senate how they're wrong a million ways from Sunday.

That said, I do have a couple of reservations about him. Unless something very strange happens between now and the primary, Crow is not going to win. The race has tightened enough between Lankford and Shannon, that I'm beginning to entertain thoughts of voting for Lankford just to try to keep Shannon out of the office.

If you're interested in Crow at all, this is a link to his announcement speech:

I don’t understand. Do you think Shannon is not sufficiently conservative and will be a bad senator or do you just not like him because he’s skipped votes.

Personally, I couldn’t vote somebody with such a low conservative rating as Lankford, but then I live in MA, and no congressman here would reach even his level.

I’d like to see as a conservative a senate as possible. Coburn’s rating is much higher than that. I’d hate to see a state like Oklahoma elect a candidate that’s less conservative than Coburn.
