Karachi airport attackers were dressed in Airports Security Force (ASF) uniform

Well it is good to know that our tax dollars at least went into buying some nice new uniforms for the terrorist Haqqani Network that held Bergdahl.

Ouch. Are they claiming Indian attackers ? Could also just be the type of ammunition a Pakistani group bought.

I don't get it... this was breaking news, then was yanked... then was breaking news again... then was yanked. It's certainly news on Twitter with 20 posts every five seconds for the last eight hours.

Pakis said it was all over, but now reports on Twitter saying fresh fire fights and Taliban is claiming responsibility - why isn't this making breaking news here or on any news outlet?

Fwiw, the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, (IMU ), claimed :

Yesterday 11th of Sha'ban (9th of June 2014), at midnight of Monday ten brave martyrdom seeking mujahids of Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan wearing their explosive-filled vests attacked very special section of Karachi International Airport of Pakistan which is not visible to the common folk visiting the Airport," Ghazi said, according to SITE.

The IMU leader also claimed that the operation "destroyed many of the fighter jets, American drones and other military planes which were in that special section ...." No aircraft are reported to have been destroyed during the operation.

Source: IMU involved in suicide assault on Karachi airport

Hard to say if the IMU or the Paki government is lying. Probably both.

Meanwhile, Successive drone strikes leave at least 16 dead in N Waziristan (1st in 6 Months)

Some say these drone strikes are in retaliation for the Karachi attack
